The Al Falah Force team did absolutely phenomenal this year at MIST New Jersey Regional 2018. We placed second in the Most Spirited Team category and Al- Falah Ridge placed 3rd in the Best Overall Team category.
First of all, thanks to our Al Falah Weekend School and Al Falah Force alumni who were among the founders, organizers, and volunteers to help run the event successfully. Our alumni student (Shameen, Meherunisa, Daanyal, and Ruba) constantly ran around during the two-day tournament. They did an amazing job in each and every aspect, either acting as a Chair to conduct the competitions, making sure the safety and security of all the students as Security head, capturing the key moments of an incredible tournament or judging the competitions.
Huge thanks to the parents who stepped up for judging and were on the campus throughout the weekend with a big smile on their faces. Special thanks to the Al Falah families and parents who came on Saturday and Sunday to support the event and Al Falah Force team and witness the electrifying energy at the event.
Finally, many thanks to our phenomenal coaches Sadaf Haroon, Shireen Ali and Sarah Abdelkader for their constant support and supervision throughout the weekend.
Shout out to our amazing students who made the entire weekend a great success!
This year Al Falah Force participated with the team of 31 students from more than 10 different high schools. Our team was a coalition team. It was great to see such success in many different categories. We had over 20 national qualifiers all across the board. The MIST Nationals will be held in August (3-5, 2018) at Hofstra University (1000 Fulton Avenue, NY 11549).
